and services, and the price per item is collected from the markets of all the major cities in Puntland on weekly
basis.
The All-Groups CPI increased from 103.01 to 103.50 in August 2025. The monthly change of August 2025 was
increase of 0.48 percent compared to increase of 0.41 percent in the previous month of July 2025. The most
significant monthly price increase was in education (4.02%), transport (2.74%), Health (1.18%), Food &
Beverages (0.75%). These Positive movements led to price increase at All-Groups of CPI level.
